About the Owners (current and former)
The Olsons plan to cut the docklines in 2019 to head for Mexico, Central America, the Galapagos, the South Pacific, and beyond. The boat has been well loved and will be undergoing a refit for this trip (mainly new rigging, chainplates, sails, and electronics). She is currently based out of the Seattle area and will be sailing around the Puget Sound in the meantime.
The Charltons sailed her around the world from 1997 to 2010. After their circumnavigation, they sailed her on the West coast most of the year to Alaska, Haida Gwai, and Vancouver Island. (Read Lyn's account of Canik's visit to St. Hellena Island [page1], [page 2])
